The story is both (eventually) inspirational as well as amusing. He too ends up with his own story.I really like these characters as well as many of the secondary ones. And Colin of Berkamshire is the only person who lives in the Keep, besides Jason, who knows of Christopher’s blindness and does his best to keep others from realizing it. There are plenty of books out there from Robin’s line.
Christopher had once been Robin’s squire. The youngest, Jason, is Christopher’s squire. Case in point Robin de Piaget comes to visit with his two oldest sons. Getting to that point is a very rocky road for both.This book works great as a stand-alone and yet one of the things I like about it the best is the tie-in with characters that already had their own story, or who eventually get one.
